-if there’s one thing that i could compare with friends, it would be trees. they grow with you. in order for friendship to grow, you need to plant it with love and care, waterit with trust and respect, fertilize itwith encouraging wordsand protect it from breaking apart.
-just like the branches of a tree, their willing hands stick out to help you when you’re down. like themighty trunk of a tree, friends act like a strong fortressto protect you from the rain oftroubles andstorm of obstacles. moreover, they shade you from the heat of rumors and insults.
-trees have an unusual way of adaptingto their environment; and so are friends.whenever you are in your high spirits, they would respond by giving you that priceless smiles and sheer laughter - like the bloomingof a tree’s flowers and leaves during springtime. when you’re in deep grief and sorrow, they would give you that sympathetic hug ang reassuring tap on the shoulder - similar to the falling of leaves during autumn. trees don’t talk and they don’t move, literally. friends could be like that. when you’re confused and troubled, theywould just sit beside you, keep you company, listen to what your ailing heart says without interrupting you.
-friends and trees share remarkable characteristics. a true friend would give up everything, even his own life, just to see you happy - similar to a tree being torn to death to be used as a lumber. you may strike them with your sharp words and walk away from them yet they would remain on the spot where you’ve left them. just like a tree, they could be passive - endures everything without resistance.
- indeed, friends are like trees.
